It's Officially Spring!
Now whether the weather stays spring like is another matter! It started out cold this morning, with frosty fleeced sheep:

The sun burned the frost off rather quickly, sparkling in the dew on leaves and grass. The woods is coming alive with more plants every day.
Coming back towards the back yard I noticed another bright spot on the spring landscape in the catalpa tree by the sheep shed:
It's the first day of spring, plants and birds and bugs are appearing, and I'm eager to see more and more signs of spring!

Hooray for Spring! We've got tiny little bits of green leaves everywhere. It's this time of year that I hold my breath---we've lost everything with a freak deep freeze more than once.
Great photos, btw!
How exciting! I love bluebirds, too. I saw a Robin yeterday, but here in the mountains we have to expect a few more wintery outburst all the way into April....wah.
My bulbs are coming up right now, too. And I saw a few buds on my peach tree. I hope that any wintery interludes won't shock these little vestiges of Spring, though.
By the way, your sheep is gorgeous! What breed is she?
Thanks for the nice comments on the photos Ceecee.
Twinville... the sheep in the picture is a purebred Shetland ewe. They are GREAT sheep!
