No, I'm not talking about the time of year for Thanksgiving or Christmas, though it certainly is the season for those also! But here on the farm it's also time for the yearly bloom of my 'Winter Star' Camellia...

Beautiful! It reminds me of the mallow that grows wild here.
That's outside isn't it?
Yes, it's in the flower bed beside the front porch. It's one of those things I could finally grow when I moved to a warmer zone, though it still needs a more protected spot to thrive.
