Spring Flowers

After a couple of rainy days, we had some sunshine this morning so I went looking to see if there were any wildflowers out in the woods. I figured it was about time for the trillium to show their faces.

Sure enough, I saw several peeking through last year's leaves for the first time this year.

There were other wildflowers in evidence also...

And when I got back in our yard, I noticed even the lilac bush is starting to leaf out...

I do believe spring may decide to show up after all this year.

I miss lilacs, those and pussy willows. They can't take the Texas heat. Be sure to post pics of the lilacs when they bloom. Add a little 'scratch and sniff' thing too. :)

Ceecee, I presume you are way south in Texas, because there are some warm weather lilacs that will bloom without real cold winters, but even they are only "good" through zone 8.

I long for an SLR, but at present I use either a Sony F828, or a Sony Cybershot DSC-H5, depending on what kind of shots I'm looking for, or just whichever camera I happen to have with me.
